Canyon Crest completely gutted and remodeled my 2 bathrooms, re-routed a new main line (mine had rotted out), installed a new sidewalk with drainage, installed a new door and window, recessed lighting, tile, beautiful custom built vanities and framed mirror mirrors (they built) and quartz countertops, new drywall, bathtub, shower enclosure, plumbing and more. 

Ernest, the owner is an absolute perfectionist.  It's hard to find a great contractor with reasonable prices.   And nearly impossible to find a craftsman - which Ernest and his team truly are.  I was really impressed with the quality of his work.  He can do anything and do it extremely well.  And we never had a mess during construction - he's meticulous about cleaning up every day.  Our vanities are the highest furniture grade I've ever seen, at a fraction of the cost you'd find anywhere else.  Everything he installed was perfection - tile, rock, a new shower, new tub, toilets, walls, lighting, window (stucco is a perfect match), doors.  He even tore out a 30' sidewalk and trenched for a new main line in 100 degree weather, sloped the new cement perfectly and installed new drainage.  He and his team were always cheerful and he did not complain once about some of my difficult mid-project changes.  He worked really well with our incredible designer.  I can't say enough good things about this contractor - really the best there is! I'll definitely have him back every time I need something done.

Complete Interior Remodel: Linda

We purchased an older house in Cowan Heights.  We closed escrow on a Friday, and started a total remodel the following Monday. The house was basically taken down to the studs.  We took a dated, four bedroom "Santa Barbara Bungalow" home and made it into a three bedroom with master retreat, open floor plan with an amazing kitchen, dining, living room with a contemporary feel.  Anyone that saw the original house cannot believe it is the same house.

The house was completed on time and is perfect!  We were consulted on every step and when in doubt, Ernest used his best judgment and performed the work as if it were his own home. It is truly a custom home. Ernest and his crew diligently worked until the house was done beautifully and it was completed on time.  The temperature controlled wine room is a highlight along with a spa-like master bath.  The kitchen is a focal point and has already hosted a number of parties.

Gretchen works closely with Ernest and no detail is missed.  They got us great pricing on the materials and helped us with the finish choices.  They even had correct counts on hardware when we calculated wrong.  Ernest also worked well with our decorator and hand-built cabinets to our specs. 

We could not be happier with our beautiful home.  Every detail is perfect.  We highly recommend Canyon Crest Construction.  This is the second home we have used Ernest Valdez and Canyon Crest Construction.  He is amazing!
